Julie Gwyther, L.Ac, MSOM

Julie graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from one of the top Oriental medicine schools in the country, Southwest Acupuncture College. Additionally, Julie completed a private one year Oriental medicine internship and has participated in specialty clinics in the fields of OBGYN, sports medicine, and fertility support.  Prior to moving to Durango, she had a private practice in Boulder and Nederland, CO. Originally from Argentina, Julie uses her Spanish skills to accommodate the group’s Spanish speaking patients. Julie specializes in women's health, fertility, pregnancy support and post partum care.  Other areas of specialty include digestive problems, pain and injury, respiratory issues, allergies and sleep problems.  Julie creates an individualized treatment plan for each patient that may include a combination of dietary therapy, herbal therapy, Qi Gong exercises and specific lifestyle modifications to help each person maintain his/her own well being.
